Seton continues to expand care beyond hospital walls with its newest clinic in Southwest Austin. Located inside the Waterleaf Medical Center at Davis Lane near South Mopac, the two-story facility Seton Family of Doctors Plus Express Care opened Aug. 12 and offers primary care and immediate care for minor illness and injury.
If you need immediate attention for a minor illness or injury, you can either just walk in or schedule an appointment. There’s little to no wait time, and consumers can expect to pay what they would for a regular doctor’s office visit.
Opening new facilities is part of Seton’s effort to provide fast, convenient access to the community. Here are a few others that recently opened:
- Seton Family of Doctors at Round Rock, near IKEA, has extended primary care hours, is open on the weekends, and offers walk-in appointments, onsite lab testing and X-rays.
- The north Austin clinic known as Seton Family of Doctors at Balcones Woods is near Seton Northwest Hospital on Research Boulevard. It offers internal medicine, pediatric services and well-woman visits. Later this fall, it will add integrative medicine to the list. Think of it as a balance of Eastern and Western medicine, combined to treat the whole person.
Seton opened its first express care location last year in The Village at Westlake shopping center near West Lake Hills. Called Seton Family of Doctors Plus Express Care, the facility is open seven days a week, and has convenient weekend and evening hours. The location is a primary care clinic combined with a walk-in clinic and offers onsite lab testing and X-rays.
